Whether you are looking for a place to hone your line in competitive play, or a friendly and relaxing environment to give bowls a try, Supermarine has something for everyone. Handily situated close to Swindon, the clubs rural location is appreciated by members and visitors alike.
Supermarine Bowls Club was formed in 1947 under the name of Vickers Sports & Social Club. Our name changed to Supermarine Sports & Social Club in 1985. This was after the revolutionary Supermarine Spitfire built by Vickers Armstrong.
Our club runs regular competitive fixtures for both Mens, and Womens bowling, in Club, District and County leagues. As well as friendly fixtures for those just looking to have some fun.
